Mindset privacy policy

Mindset is an app for Mac and iPhone made by PT. Nicecoder Solusi Digital ("we"). What we collect depends on whether you use Mindset for free or sign in to sync.

Using Mindset without an account

You don't need an account to use Mindset. Without one, everything you enter (time, projects, earnings, expenses, goals and notes) is stored only in the app on your device. We receive none of it. Your data is included in your device's normal iCloud or Finder backups, according to your own backup settings.

Signing in to sync

Subscribers sign in so their data can sync between Mac and iPhone. You can sign in with Apple, with Google, or with a link we email to you.

When you sign in we store:

• your email address and an account identifier from the sign-in service you chose. If you use Sign in with Apple and hide your email, we only see Apple's relay address.
• for Sign in with Apple, a token from Apple, kept encrypted, so we can revoke the sign-in when you delete your account.
• the devices you've signed in on, so sessions can be signed out.
• everything you enter in Mindset, so it can reach your other devices: projects, time entries, earnings, expenses, goals, notes, and any receipt photos you attach.

Sign-in links are sent by email through Amazon Simple Email Service. Each link expires after 15 minutes and works once.

Where your data is stored

Synced data is stored on servers we run with Amazon Web Services in the United States (US East, Northern Virginia). It is encrypted in transit and encrypted at rest on Amazon's storage. It is not end-to-end encrypted, which means our server can read it. We access it only to run the service, or to help you when you ask us to.

Exchange rates

To show amounts in two currencies, the app downloads daily exchange rates from our server, which gets them from Open Exchange Rates. No personal data is sent to Open Exchange Rates.

Purchases

The subscription is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple handles payment, and we receive no card or billing details. Our server receives the transaction information Apple provides so it can confirm your subscription.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, show ads, track you across other apps or websites, or use third-party analytics.

Keeping and deleting your data

If your subscription ends, sync stops and your data stays on your devices. We keep your synced data until you delete your account, so subscribing again restores it.

Deleting your account removes your synced records, receipt photos, sessions, devices and sign-in details from our server, and revokes Sign in with Apple. Copies may remain in encrypted server backups until those backups expire. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription; cancel it in your Apple account settings.

To get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account, email info@nicecoder.com from the address you sign in with.

Planned features

We plan to add AI features to Mindset, such as screening job posts. Before any version that sends your data to an AI service is released, we will update this policy to say what is sent, to whom, and why.
