dbPlus privacy policy
Last updated 19 October 2026
dbPlus is a Mac app made by PT. Nicecoder Solusi Digital ("we"). In short: dbPlus collects no data and sends nothing to us.
Your connections and passwords
The connections you save, your settings and your saved queries are stored on your Mac. Passwords are kept in the macOS Keychain. If you choose "Ask every time" for a connection, dbPlus stores no password for it at all.
Your databases
dbPlus connects only to the database servers and SSH servers you set up. Your data travels directly between your Mac and those servers and never passes through us. For SSH tunnels, dbPlus listens on your Mac's own address (127.0.0.1) and nowhere else.
When you export connections to share them, the file is written where you choose and passwords inside it are encrypted with a passphrase you set. We never see that file.
Purchases
dbPlus Premium is bought through the Mac App Store. Apple handles payment, and we receive no card or billing details from it. Apple's own privacy policy applies to purchases.
Crash reports
If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your Mac's settings, Apple may pass us crash reports for dbPlus. Apple collects and anonymizes these; we use them only to fix bugs. You can turn this off in System Settings, under Privacy and Security, then Analytics and Improvements.
Tracking
dbPlus does not track you, shows no ads, and contains no third-party analytics.
Changes and contact
If dbPlus ever needs to handle data differently, we will update this policy before that version is released and change the date at the top. Questions go to info@nicecoder.com.
