Ive been playing around with a few graphics for layouts of the Row files, and Just wanted to get abit of feedback from you guys.

Im thinking of making one with tabs, such as a details tab .... review tab etc....

would it be better on the side or under the listings etc.....

any ideas totally welcomed......

Nice but yellow for free listing may get exposed too much. I'd prefer the sponsored will get the most user attention, followed by premium and free listing.

yeh dody, funny you should mention that, they can be any colour.... when I made them I did the yellow one first just as a test, so i used it as the normal listing, but that can be easily changed to be sponsored etc,

That one is done with graphics, Im also making another one which doesnt have graphics for those wanting to save on bandwidth.....

Those ones work in both IE and Firefox (I had troubles with IE displaying them so I had to restructure them alittle.. due to tables...)

is there a colour preference? basically the top and bottom colours are graphics, and the middle can be changed cause its a table background.... I did that so people could put their logos in the background of the link detail (pale... but still branding none the less)....

Ill put up some more examples over the weekend.....

I am fine but I have been dealing with some medical problems of my wife. nothing serious, just time consuming. I am just now beginning to get back online after a couple of months.

As for being "back," I doubt it seriously. SMARTY is just too complicated for me and I have no desire to learn it. and I would have to learn it in order to do anything complicated with INDEXU. or even simple stuff.

my knowledge of v5.x is EXTREMELY limited. I don't even understand most of the questions, let alone the answers, here in the forum.

I'm even down to one links site and it uses an old links program. I may convert it to my LinksCoder program (my clone of v3.2) someday. but my interest in Links sites has begun to wane after six years of fooling with them.

I just renewed my indexuhelp.com site for another year. I'm thinking next year (August 2007) I may not renew it. I'll keep my AddLinks/EditLinks mod at least until then.

But I can still drop by and make comments from time to time. As the saying goes, you can "hold down the fort" here at Nicecoder quite nicely.

One thing that I am interested in is using AJAX along with PHP in creating a site. but that is another story for a another time.

I found good directory owner community at digital point. If you have time, you can visit here. I hope your interest in directory site will be up again. There i read how people build their directory, and how to make it famous. Very interesting.
