On a side note hotscripts is poorly coded - it uses a mess of tables and has a rubbish load speed. It looks ok, and is probably the only way to get that design to work, however a few compromises would make it run twice as fast and it would look just as good. Look at the code and count the nested tables! Yikes!

if you can wait for the new version this maybe of intrest : http://www.indexutemplate.com/

    Hello,

I like the design of scriptsandstuffs.com ( it is my site ). Actually to make Indexu look like it would not be very difficult, ( I think I could do it for $300.00 or so ) as fare as the look is concern. more difficult (for me) are the several feature that are part of K-Link (even worst support than Indexu ).
Scriptsandstuffs.com is moving away from K-Links to WNS links, I have a programmer who will make WNS Links look like scriptsandstuffs. The advantage of WSN Links are:
    1) Real support, programmer actually answer question
    2) Real static pages (I still think that real static page are better than mod_rewrite ones)
    3) Only $60.00 for 3 domains life time support and upgrade

Iwill post after I make the move to the new application.

    Hello,

Did you try to run it as a static directory?

I did yes, and it improves it a lot. If you trim out all the PM and messaging and hits o****ing system you can make it fairly managable.

In the end, Im sticking with indexU becuase i know it now. im sure wsnlinks, if you put the work in, can be just as good if not better. I found the database queries on indexu are a lot lighter. If you run wsnlink as a static or dynamic directory your still going to be doing a lot of queries.

I have to say, that wsnlink has a great facility to allow you to create the static files at a set time so this virtually eliminates slowness of the sql queries for visitors.
