Why am i giving it away?
because websites that do well in the search engines need links. The more links i have the better things are for my sites - If oyu use this you need to keep the footer links in place to avoid breaking my licence agreement, in the footer i have 2 links that point to 2 of my sites. Keeping these links is payment for the template.

If you run a general directory please add the following websites as listings on your site, this is not required but greatly appreciated - plus you need to get the ball rolling and test adding a few sites, so these links are as good as any others right?!

Wow a wide screen template...Looks good...uhmm next time you decide to publish one of these I would love to sponsor you. Let me know. Did you post this on DP? Good way to draw some of those phpld boys who are looking a better script. Thats what drew me here is that nicecoder is so much better. If not would you mind posting it there please.

I actually have sponsored themes at DP myself, I dont think indexU really has the number of users to warrant people sponsoring themes though... do you? in all honesty i would want to finish it off better than i have if i was selling sponsorship - would be awesome if Mr Milton encouraged this type of thing and perhaps put up a user contributed area on the site... with a few notes on payment/or what you have to do to use the file next to the submission, at the moment these post will just get lost in a few weeks.

Can you tell us how to add "blocks" on the left and right column?

Right now, the center column/block is much much longer than the left and right column

depends what screen size you have, it always fills the screen so the centre boxes position will go up and down. You can move the blocks around in the footer file. I noticed a few errors i have on it i will update the download file today.

First let me say thank you for all the help you have given me, whether directly or indirectly. Love the new template. I have found that the websites descriptions under the categories are not readable. I am guessing that it is a font color issue. It happens on your sample site as well:

Browse by categories: Kids and Teens: Sports and Hobbies: Chats and Forums

Any ideas?

hi, do you mean its not aligned correctly? because everything stretches to screen size i had to change all the display blocks, must have missed the rows one - i will fix it today and update... if you mean you actually "cant see it" then please tell me what browser your using because i don't have this problem

I use IE 6. I know I have changed a few things at my site, but this issue happened before any changes I made. If you go to my site, IKnowAuto.com, click on any category. On the page that loads up, the one that lists 10 websites per page of the category you just clicked, there should be text describing the website. I can't see any of it, but when I move my mouse over it, I can see that there are links there, along with other text, cause I can copy and paste it to a notepad and read it fine, but I just can't see it on the webpage.

On your homepage, Pretty Spiffy General Directory, if you scroll down to the Random Links, can you see them? I can not see them on your page (or mine), but I know they are there when I move the mouse over them.

As for the align issue, I am only an amatuer, and for the life of me I can't figure how to center stuff on the right. Here is the code I used on the left side, and just figured it would work on the right:

if you have a banner or somethign you would liek to align to the center jsut use :

I dont understand the problem your having with the text not showing because i can see it fine on your site, i think its probably a cache proble,. try deleting temp internet files and reloading the page pressing "ctrl + refresh"

however, if you dont mind giving me your ftp details i would gladly take a look and fix any problem, send me a PM if you need me to.

If you were willing tomake it work with 5.1 it would, im not sure what changes you need, a lot of the blocks would need to be removed fromt he code because 5.1 didnt support them.

Okay, for the life of me, I can't figure out how to add a banner at the top, and have it centered. I know this should be easy, but I just can't get it to work. When I do try and add the image, it is never 'on top' of the blue image (headerr image) that spans the entire top of any page, but instead the banner always shows up above or below it, regardless of what I try.

Suggestions?

just look at the original file, where you took the original logo off replace it with the new logo... to center just use :
