i downloaded and install Cleandex

After that i have set active and cleared cache files . in the browser waz no pics.


In error log is this

There should not be a .htaccess file in the cleandex directory

Your error messge says there is one. Make sure your FTP client can actually view hidden files.

i think the problem is bacause the category list doenst have any relate image file.
for default image you can check setting.php file in your templates file (eg: kosmos) and find this line :

$cat_default_image = $site_url.'/themes/'.$active_theme.'/images/folder.gif';

you can change the default image file for category from there, or you can edit from admin panel.

go to Categories => View / Edit / Delete then please try edit one of your category list, in detail category list you'll find field call Image File, you can change the relate image file for category from there too.

nb : you need to put the image file in your theme images folder first.
