 New templates on Indexutemplates for October
For the month of October we have added two new templates. The first template is called News Portal Red and as you can tell by it's name has a dark red background. However the text is very easy to read and overall it is nice to look at and easy on the eyes. The second template was a suggestion of mine and I am very happy that we have been able to produce it. It is a very specialized template designed for .mobi sites! Now you can run IndexU on a site designed for mobile browsers. I had my suspicions, and they're true. The templates are all CSS based, so no PSD's needed or required.

While I'm not 100% sure, I do believe IndexU is the first directory script to offer a .mobi template. I've seen requests, but no action. And yes we do plan on making more of them.

| Code: Content visible to License Owner only. With the .mobi one, can you have two templates running alongside each other so that if it's a mobile device that tries to access your site, the mobile template will load, and if it's a regular browser, the main template will load? Also, if you buy a 3 month membership, can you continue using the downloaded templates after the 3 months expires? Thanks, Steph |

Actually Frank (FSGDAG) was going to be testing that out with a mod written by mpdaddy. I do not know the results yet but feel free to message him to check it out. Yes you can continue to use the downloaded templates on sites you already have them on. You can not use the templates on any new sites unless you have a current license at indexutemplates.

The dotmobi template is a really nice idea Have you got any tips on implementing adsense for mobile devices with that template? |

I would suggest adding the adsense right below the top menu (home/power search).
