Arrow Firefox issues + few questions...

    Hello,
I am interested in buying this script, but I found some issues with Firefox. In operator's chat window, when user sends a message, his name doesn't get highlighted. This is quite annoying, because you can't tell who has sent you a message. I am using Firefox 3.0.6. Also, there are a lot of misprints and awkwardly worded sentences throughout the program. Even the main screen has a misprint: "welcom". And that what an end user sees when entering the program... And lastly... Do you guys plan to add more features into the chat? If yes, when are you going to release the next version? Is this project active?
    Thanks, Ravil

    - We are using green color font for the user's name when the user send a new chat message.

    - Thank you for your correction on "welcom" text. It is a mistype. But you can edit it yourself by modifying the language file in "lang/english.php"

    - Nicetalk messenger project is still active, but we are currently focus our development on another product. For now we are gathering inputs, suggestions and bug reports. As for the release of the new version, we are unable to announce for now until further notice.

    Thanks for your reply.

Well, can you suggest how could I change the text colour/size for users with unanswered messages? Green is very hard to see, unless you look very hard.

Also, I'm working on adding a char counter for the send message text box, because the script just cuts your message at 255 characters without alerting the user.

    And a few suggestions/bugs found:
    - Allow one operator to be included in multiple departments
    - Add canned responses and URLs - they are "must have" for live support programs.
    - Add the ability of choosing the smtp protocol if here are no mail servers installed
    - Add customizable pre-chat questions
    - Add a feature to generate html code to access th deprtments stright, without having to select them from the list
    - Visitors list doesn't work... has to be fixed...
    - When an operator signs out, a user does not get informed. The user still sees the chat...
    - User does not get notified when he get transferred to a different operator
    - Offline messages.. . insted of dumping them all into one email, send them separately to different addresses, according to the departent

That's it for now. Please tell me if you will be working on this script at all in the near future. Otherwise, investing in this script is not worth it at this point, as it clearly needs some fixes. I mean, if you guys would sell it for $15 then it makes sence to get it and modify it yourself. But since you sell it as a complete product, it has to work "out of the box"... and work properly.

Just found another bug. If you don't log off properly, but just close the browser's window, the system never boots you out. So the chat room remains open. And in fact, after that happens, you are unable to log off at all. So the user will remain online forever... well at least for an hour so far...
    That's getting a little annoying.

We are still working on it and should actually have a new release out shortly to deal with a few issues. When will it be released? I don't know, but I can tell you that I want it by the end of the month at the latest.

Yes I have noticed that if you close the chat you are not logged out. The issue that you don't want to autologout the users while they are in the admin panel waiting for a chat because that defeats the purpose of the script. I'm not sure what can be done in regards to this as I'm not a programmer but I'm sure there is a fix that they can do.

Sounds good! Do you know if this issue will be fixed by the end of the month? And also, increasing the message size would help.

    Thanks!

To be honest I don't know what's being worked on exactly sorry. The programmers and I are seperated by about 6000 miles so it makes it difficult for me to walk to their desk and ask
