    Exclamation Portuguese Language

    hello staff
I have just phurcase the IndexU.
There is no Portuguese language here?
I don´t believe that a software like that not include portuguese language files .... I am very unhappy.
I thought this software already had a translation into Portuguese language!

The supported languages page makes no mention of portuguese. This isn't something that we did not tell you.

Quality Web Based Software for Your Business - IndexU Link Directory - iDesk Help Desk - NiceTalk LiveHelp script - NiceMember membership script - NiceBackup cPanel™ backup utility - DMOZ Extractor

You're welcome to do a translation into portuguese if you're interested.

For the translation, once it is complete, you will receive a free license to IndexU.

    Cool Translation Problem

    I have a little problem.
In my backoffice i have Portuguese language as default language like u can see in the image above:

But when i go to www.mydomain.com the default language is English.
When i put in my browser the url above i can change language temporary:
    http://www.mydomain.com/set_language..._id=pt_PT.utf8
    and everything works perfectly.
    But
When i change the default language to Portuguese (or another like Indonesia) or other language in backoffice i see this error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ',' in public_html/application.php on line 114

rename the language directory pt.PT.utf8 instead.

If you see that error it means you you probably have an error on application.php but application.php does not have 114 lines. I would check to make sure it hasn't been tampered with.

Default Problem is rename to pt.PT.utf8

    I go explain...
I have do a fresh install ... i change in backoffice the default language to Portuguese but in front page i have charset problems like this ... then a read your foruns and i learn that i have to change my database to utf8 ... and i do it but in front page the same problem... then i go to my lang folder and i change to pt.PT.utf8 ... when i change the url in front page ( not the deault lang in backoffice!) with this url /set_language.php?lang_id=pt_PT.utf8 the charset problem disappears...
So my problem is when i go to backoffice and change the default language to Portuguese ... then i receive the application.php error in line 114 ...

It may also be possible that your server doesn't support the set_lang function. If you have compiled the language file why not attach it here and I'll see if it works on my server?

    Default Solved

i don´t know why but i change always the folder pt.PT to pt.PT.utf8 after i install the indexu. now before i install the indexu i change the folder to pt.PT.utf8 and then (after a fresh install) i go to backoffice and change the default lang and voilá ... everything work perfect.

P.S. I don´t post yet my translation because is not complete. Once it is complete i share with you.

Thanks for your time and help

    For those who are translating to a UTF-8 language and have "application.php on line 114" , in "application.php" change the " $additional_category_price = 0,5;" to " $additional_category_price = 0.5;"

You can get the portuguese language in the SVN version. Look at my signature for more info on SVN
