All you need to do is select a language you want to translate and then get started.

Of course there isn't much point in doing one that is already done or in progress.

I am almost done, but as I said, some terms are missing from original .po file, I need to know how to add the, I tried, but it wouldnt work.

Also, what is phrases.php, do we need to translate that too?

phrases.php does not need to be translated from what I've been told.

If something is missing then just leave it out, I don't think the translations can ever be "perfect" anyways.

Hello there,

i have instaled Indexu 1.3.3 few days ago, but i cant continue to work because i cant change language to any of them.

- I have linux hosting
- it has gettext feature enabled
- i have html code in utf-8
- i have database in utf-8
> when i try to change language (through admin panel or on page as visitor) - nothing happened - i tried to clear template cache but it didnt help....

Please help - i made translation for Slovak, but i cant use because i cant use any other language other than English..
And i paid more than usd as price of single domain license, so please help.

That has nothing to do with translation issues, that's a support issue.

Send an email to support [at] nicecoder.com and include your ftp login and indexu login.

I would like to provide a Hungarian translation if there is any interest.

Is it ok if I just translate the text file and send to Dody? I have a Windows PC while my server runs on Linux.

So I am assuming if Dody can compile it on Linux, then I'll be able to use it....

It is really strange, though, that a web solution is platform dependent. Does this mean that not all people using indexu can actually use all languages (I am assuming that some people are hosted on Windows, others on Linux and others on yet other systems...)

Yes, Dody can compile it for you and make it available. Just send the file to support (at) nicecoder.com when your finished with it.

You loose a TON of functionality hosting IndexU on Windows. All of the mod rewrite along with other functions. Language support is the least of the problems when hosting this script on Windows

I sent a Hungarian translation on 29 Dec, and finally a corrected version on 21 Jan. Any updates on that? Have you received it? Is it working fine?
