How to translate indexu

I have checked my file, all is well, if I use iso-8859-6 it works fine without compiling, only problem with utf-8

Any ideas?

Your database needs to be in UTF-8 as well. You may need to convert it

My database is utf-8
I tried translating wordpress to UTF-8 Arabic and it works with no problems
Maybe the pot file for indexu is currupt

Has any one tried to translate to Arabic?

Arabic is almost done, but there are some words missing, like "Rank"
I added it manually to .po, can I do that?

if not, then whats the procedures please?

I can't find 'Rank' word in indexu.po file too. In which page this word appear?

I found many untranslated, some are translated in different pages but not in other, I managed to make rank appear in .po, but not others, I dont know about the numbering way of words and phrases.

BTW, what about phrases.php file, should I translate that too?
