User name????

When I sign up as an a member would, I don't get a user name sent to my email in order to log into cp.

Is this because I am signing up as a free member?

Signing up where? In your copy of IndexU?

If you're not receiving an email then your host or email software is stopping the email or sending it to your spambox.

No, the email is coming through fine. But there is no user name (only password) for the customer's account after they add their listing.

Should it be sending a user name when approved in the email? as well as the password?

So on the signup, yes the username should be sent. I would check your mail templates to ensure you didn't remove anything vital.
