Update 1.3.2 > 1.3.3 question

Hi

I am a bit unsure how to update Indexu 1.3.2 to 1.3.3

In readme file there is an update guide about upgrading from version 1.1 but does that apply to this update as well? Upload all files except application.php and template files.

Also I have a little problem creating new categories. When going into section Categories > add and then choose an option in dropdown box for Parent Category it just give me the text: "loading...admin" and nothing happens. Tried both in IE7 and Firefox 3.

Updating from any version to any version is the same. Replace all files except application.php and key.php.

If you have customized your template then do not upload the template files.

Another user has reported the "loading" issue. I think this is a bug that creeped back into IndexU. We had fixed this a while ago.

Thanks a lot for the update info.
After update my user/pass was reset and when trying to change password I keep getting the message: "Change password failed". Tried with lot of different words but same result.

Also the loading issue is still there after update to 1.3.3

Just want to add that I have tried to add 'SecFilterEngine Off' to .htaccess as suggested in another thread but did not fix it.
I had been able to add categories before in version 1.3.2 so don't know why it suddenly freezes.

About the pass work I found thread http://www.nicecoder.com/community/f...password-8489/ and used the code replacement. So that part is fixed.
Just the dropdown boxes that freezes and it is not only in the categories section I just found out. Also in the Links section etc.

Glad you got the one bug sorted, the "loading" bug is another that hasn't been fixed yet. You can use IE temporarily until we release a fix.

The loading problem is both in IE7, FF3 and Chrome, but I have a lot of other things to work on in the meantime so not urgent.
Just strange that it suddenly doesn't work without me updating any files.

No one else has reported an issue in IE.

If you can take a look at loading... with firefox and Opera - NiceCoder Community Forums - Projects and send in your IndexU admin and FTP login to support the programmers can take a look and find the issue.
