Possible Bug with 1.3.3

Hi,

Since I installed 1.3.3 I have noticed a couple of problems

First, when a user edits his/her listing, it changes some of the descriptions characters;

All ( ‘ ) changes to ( ? ),
… also ( & ) should look like ( & ) but it displays as ( & )

I have to go to admin and change them again.

Second issue since I installed 1.33;

When a new user registers they can not log in using their username and password, UNTIL I go to the admin and activate the NEW user, STILL won’t work and password will fail, UNTILL again I go to the admin and reset their passwords.

I understand that this is an issue with the MD5 thing but for the existing users, why is it happening for the new users as well? Is that mean that from now on every time some one registers we have to ones activate them and then ask them to see what is their password and then reset their password?

For the characters, I've never seen nor heard of that issue from anyone else. Are you using UTF-8 or ISO-8859?

The users issue shouldn't be happening. Any new user should be able to register and be done with it. When you upgraded did you make the necessary template changes as well? There were a few minor template changes that are required to work with the new MD5 passwords.
