plugin system

Im finding the plugin system very frustrating, it creates more work than using php code or blocks. For instance, how do you change the layout of the search engine stats? You have to look at the php code instead of simply modifying a template. WHat about if you want to add the search engine stats to the trows file? Again, as a block its simple but its a lot of work as a plugin.... they are inflexible and annoying.

Anyway, thats my rant, heres my question ... How do you add the SEstats to the rows file?

I emailed Dody and asked him to come look at this thread specifically. Any time I've asked for his assistance with a question on the forum he has responded. It's 3AM there right now so you'll have to wait a bit for the answer.

In some case, block can be more easier, but block has limitation which plugin can do. The current plugin system may very immature, we're still looking for more input from community.

no i want to use the default search engine stats plugin on the rows page.

Currently it only makes them appear on the details page.
