    Default Link Validation

This morning I got an email from the system telling me I had a pending resourse. It showed me the listing that had been requested etc. I logged in, hit validate links and it wasn't anywhere to be found.

I have a ton of links to validate and don't understand why the new ones don't go to the front of the line....day 1 or submitted 1 day ago. Where can I look for the new submits?

Some of the new links if they are Premium or Sponsored will come up under "SUSPENDED LINKS" so you have to go there and validate them.

    Default Fuller story

I looked there. I also checked phpmyadmin and made sure things were set to char1, 0...

I have lots of links to validate...1800, but those were imported. New users are trying to submit links and I get the mail, but there is nothing to validate. I've looked at all of the threads that were posted on the topic but nadda.

    Default Not Spam

I click in the admin panel...Spam Links.

It tells me there is nothing there.

Well, why don't you validate those 1800 and see if you see the new ones? That could solve your problem!

Imported links don't need to be validated.

they do when you import them using phpmyadmin and the importing is to the idx_temp table.

Its a known problem... dody posted some code a while back to correct, i think its because the field that says if the link is spam is completely empty and does not contain either a 0 or 1 it just ignores the link completely.

But why would anyone import them to idx_temp, that makes no sense to me. Perhaps it is plausible.

Why would premium or sponsored links pop up there?

As Premium or Sponsored links are normaly paid listings so they go to suspended section until the site's webmaster confirm the payment and un suspend them.

sponsored and premium links will appear as suspended until they are paid. If you use a payment method that is not automatic you would need to manually approve the listing.

Also some people may start to add a listing and choose a payment method and then decide not to complete the payment. This would leave the listing as suspended.

Ah, that might be it. Think I will have to go through the procedure myself to see if it is working.
