I have a indexu 5.4 licence but when deluxe announced i upgraded my licence to deluxe.
but after that i returned to indexu 5.4
now i want to use deluxe.
can i suspend 5.4.1 licence and activate deluxe licence?

You don't need to suspend anything, the Deluxe license is good for both Deluxe and 5.4. All you need to do is to run an upgrade and you're good to go.
