installation problem

i purchased the script however my server is not

PHP 5.1.0 ... Not Installed (current version: 4.4.4)

what do i do? (switching a hosting company is not an option)

Unfortunately, IndexU Deluxe 1.x.x was written for PHP 5. There really isn't a work around for it.

Some hosting companies have the ability to have both PHP 4 and 5 installed on their servers. Check with your hosting company to see if it is.

I know you said switching hosting companies is not an option, but if your current hosting company wont help you with getting PHP 5, use the link in my signature. I'd be happy to help you out

it is 200 gbp a month server that i run 9 of my sites for several years with 100% uptime.

i have one running directory on that server version nc 5.4.X so is there a way to revert to a previous with my license.

You'll need to send an e-mail into Support to ask if they will allow you to use a 5.4.x license. Version 5.4.x was written for PHP 4 so that should work.

Send an e-mail to Support at NiceCoder . com explaining your issue and see what they are willing to do...

The guy that answers the support tickets ( Bruceper ) has been sick for a while, so it might be a day or so before you'll get a response. Just be patient and I'm sure he'll help you as soon as he can

you can ask the webhosting provider, how tu use PHP5. my webhosting company provide my php5 by using .htaccess. most of web hosting company install both of version. but the default is php4, use line on .htaccess can provide php5.

If you purchased a deluxe licence you can use 5.4. To download 5.4 log into SVN and click on the link at the top.
