IndexU Freezing - Too many Categories?

We have added 2000 categories to IndeU.
It is on a brand new dedicated server.
It only has 483 links added

When I go to add a category, it freezes. when I go to select the Parent Category Stuck saying "loading...admin"

Is there a limit to the amount of categories that IndexU can handle?

We love IndexU, we just need to know of limitations so that we can structure our directories to best suit its capabilities.

It's a known javascript issue and has nothing to do with how many categories you have. Upgrade to 5.41 or Deluxe (as a workaround you can use a different browser).

I have Deluxe (apologies, posted in wrong area)

I have tried on two different computers and three different browsers (IE8, FireFox, IE7)

Not working still.

I have over 3500 categories on most of my IndexU Deluxe installations without any problems. It would seem your issue is probably outside of IndexU

This was an issue in 5.x, and since you posted in the 5.x forum I just assumed you were running that. The issue should have been fixed in all templates for Deluxe and now it's the server having issues displaying the menu.

Add the following to your .htaccess after INDEXU-END
