Default Indexu 1.1 and Vbulletin Plugin

I have installed indexu 1.1 to test out the new Vbulletin plugin

enabled the new plugin and added the correct path settings.

refreshed the front end and nothing seems to happen.

You said it makes vbulletin users appear to indexu logged in?

Ok so i created a user within vbulletin and logged in, proceded to indexu frontend and im asked to login in indexu. ?

Had a look through the 1.1 manual and the archive file, no documentation that i can find.

what is the method of this plugin, would users have to register at the vbulletin forum first ?

I dont know how the plugin works yet, but from what I was told previously users would register on vb first.

I'll find out exactly how it's supposed to work tonight.

While we're waiting, did you try logging into indexu with the vbulletin login?

I'm still learning the plugin system but it looks like the vB user system replaces the INDEXU user system. From registration to login to profile/password management.

So if you click the INDEXU registration it would take you to the vB registration. etc

so go to INDEXU and "register" thru INDEXU. Then "login" thru INDEXU.

two things I haven't found yet.

1. how are previous INDEXU useers handled...? They are obviously not in the vB database unless the plugin transfers them (and I don't see that).

2. I don't see how the vB plugin assigns the INDEXU user after logging in. Remember, when you go to the INDEXU login, it will take you to the vB login (as best I can determine). In addition to activating the vB user, I don't see where it activates the INDEXU user. It would certainly seem to do this. I just haven't found it yet.
