How to hide some admin features for a certain administrator

Is there a way to hide some user which can log in to /admin area some features? I have a content manager to which I dont want to show my database credentials (Setup part of administration area), invoices, templates etc.
How to hide some of them for a certain user?

Probably the one area of IndexU that has been ignored the most is the 'user' area. Unfortunately, both the /cp and Admin area are very simplistic and either you have rights or you dont. There's no grey middle.

My suggestion would be to make sure you have a daily ( off site ) backup of your DB. Once work is complete from your Content Manager, change the password for the DB and make the corrections inside of IndexU as well.

Hopefully this might be an area that Dody and the programmers will start focusing on soon. It would be alot nicer if the user cp area, editors, and admins were developed out a little more

At the moment IndexU doen't have this feature. In my opinion, it is really interesting to have more complex permission system in indexu. Though I know it needs a lot of changing.

This is not good way for me - my content manager works on my directory every day, I would change password every day.

In the old Indexu 5.4.1. I was able to hack /admin files easily to remove some parts of administration, but in Deluxe there are some data stored in database and it is much harder to hack it (for me).

In deluxe, it is stored in idx_admin_menu table. But you will lost the menu too if you remove them. Not a good solution.

Anything can really be done, the problem isn't weather it can be done... Its what about the future. Any update you ever applied would certainly over right all the changes you made.

Now, could a plugin be made to enhance the Admin Control Panel? Maybe. But your best bet is to put the project up at eLance.com or ScriptLance.com.
