Filling in Excel template

Hi,

This is going to sound very basic to most, but i'm having problems filling in the Excel template to import into my Database. If I wanted to have Finance as the main category and the following as sub-categories: Advisers, Banking, Brokers, Consultants, Funds Management, Planners. How would I go about it?

This was explained in the thread with the spreadsheet.

If Finance is the top level category then it's parent would be 0
Any subcategory of Finance would use Finance's category ID as the parent

CatID ParentID CatName
1 0 School
2 0 Work
3 0 Finance
4 3 Advisers
5 3 Banking
6 3 Brokers
7 3 Consultants
8 3 Funds Management
9 3 Planners
10 0 Vacation

When you say remove the header data, you mean this:

category_id parent_id name description image content visible links meta_keyword meta_description permission registered_only header footer related page_title hits order_num basic_price premium_price sponsored_price

and do I leave this in:

You remove both of those things
