Default Fatal error: Call to a member function Fields() on a non-object in

HI I have installed the demo locally. The MySQL connection is working, the Ioncube is enabled and working, the tables have been created in the DB, BUT when I proceed to admin or any other file I get this message:

Fatal error: Call to a member function Fields() on a non-object in...line 0
Fatal error: Call to a member function Fields() on a non-object in C:\ ... \indexu_deluxe1.3.1\upload\lib\db.class.php on line 0
the file paths appear to be correct, the key is installed, and all the checks in the install come up green and then you are told it is installed and working and you can go to admin where you get that message.

Is this a settings issue or does the demo have issues?

Its definitely a settings issue... I'm sure Bruce will be on soon and can answer this question

Your issue is most likely due to settings. I never suggest that users run IndexU from a local webserver because (and I"m only being honest) most users don't know what they're doing when it comes to setting up apache/php/mysql

Obviously line 0 doesn't exist, so you have an issue somewhere. You said you get this when you open the admin panel. Do you get the same error on the index?

The first thing I'd check is the database to ensure you're not missing any tables. That's where I've typically seen the fields error come from.
