    Default A bug in Firefox

    Hello,

I'm using Firefox 3.0.3 on a Mac and I've just noticed a problem.

I've got some categories which contain lots of sub categories so when I go to add a new site, I get the drop down menu of categories with a + at the side of the ones with sub categories, the only problem is that in Firefox you cant click the + to expand whereas I can in Safari.

    It's within the admin interface.

But now I've just discovered when I tested it out using the user side on the bluesmooth template when I choose a category, it just displays "loading" and doesn't actually display anything more.

I'm pretty sure I'm following what you said above in the admin panel, and I cant seem to reproduce the error / problem.

Hmmm. I dont know what I can do to replicate it as a screen shot wouldn't really show much would it ;/

    I'll attach a screen shot of the user side form where it just displays "loading" when I try to choose a category in Firefox;

Can you also see, in the form, after it says Additional Category 2, it also displays "Administrator" which is what I'm logged in as but I dont understand why it's randomly displayed down there ;/

Have you tried downloading the latest version of the bluesmooth template? That may fix the issue as there have been many fixes to the Deluxe templates.

I have tested bluesmooth with Firefox 2.0.0.17 and I do not see any issues.

    I haven't no. (I didn't know there were updates). I'll give that a go.

    Thanks.

Edited : Are the updated files available to download when you login? I've just downloaded the template from there and there was actually only one updated file in there from the copy that I was using. - just wondering if I was looking in the right place.

They are in the client area, that's the only place where we offer the templates.

Ok. Well, it still doesn't work in Firefox 3.0.3 on a Mac I'm afraid.

I tried the URL you supplied and it does not work. Then I uploaded bluesmooth to one of my own sites and tried it and it does work.

So there is an issue on your site. Whether that is the template of the ajax files I'm not sure but you need to check and find/replace any files that have not been updated.

One solution that some users needed to do was to add the following code in the bottom of .htaccess
    SecFilterEngine Off

Having the same issues on cleandex template. When I want to edit the category to a listing, it just displays "loading...admin" and nothing else happens. Will try it tomorrow with IE, maybe it will work there.
