    Default Annoying Admin Panel

The new menu introduced in v1.30 has a collapsable/expandable menu which is quite annoying.
I have to keep clicking the expand button everytime an operation is finished.

There is no way to keep it expanded until I choose otherwise?
    No plan to fix ASAP?

For the admin panel you replace ALL files in /admin/ and /admin_tpl/

If you want to use the old admin panel you can delete /admin/ and /admin_tpl/ and upload an older version. But you could/would lose functionality.

I'm not alone in the universe .

I have a feeling that the new page was designed by someone who does not use the product everyday or cares about. Black and dark colors are OK for casual visitors but not when you have to spend time on it, as is the case with the admin page.

Designed a menu that keeping collapsing at every operation, while his/her energy went to create a page that can change width (those three icons at top right - I cannot see how this will improve productivity). Makes no sense to me.

The previous version or even v5.4 have, IMHO, better design.

The collapsing issue is resolved in 1.31. That was an error and was not intentional.

Upgraded to v1.31 this weekend but collapsing problem remains.
Am I missing something (like a setting somewhere in admin panel) to change its behaviour?

You need to upload all files in /admin/ and /admin_tpl/ and that's it.

If the issue is still happening it's because you didn't upload and overwrite all the files. You can delete /admin/ and /admin_tpl/ first if you'd like, it won't affect anything.

I have checked those two folders and they are fine.

The only part that is kept expanded is the Control Panel (Expand all/Collapse all/Logout). The rest collapses as soon as I click anything.

Then you either didn't upload it, or didn't overwright the files. Another possibility is that you didn't upload the correct version either. Delete what you have and download 1.31 from the client area again.

Found a workaround - just rename (or delete) functions.js in admin_tpl folder.
