    1st step.
Back up your database on your hard drive.

    2nd step.
Back up your templates if you made any modifications so you don't have to edit them again.

    3rd.
Upload all the files over writing your existing files, and make sure you setup the application to point to the same database that you used for the lite version so everything is the same as it was in the lite version.

4th. Make sure category path and files are chmod correctly.

    Hart_House,

    thanks for the reply ...

I am testing the commercial app locally on my system, as i have apache, mysql and phpmyadmin.

Now as mentioned, I exported the link and the category db...to my local system then saved them as text files here and then imported the files into my newly installed comemrcial version on my local system itself.

Now the problem is that...after importing...the categories and the links do not reflect on my homepage where i want the dir to appear ....

In the admin section.... I can see them in the summary they are there also, I can edit them, both links and categories...

Is there anything, I'll have to do...so that the imorted links and categories reflect on my homepage ?? ... or am I missing something here

    Thanks much for any help

    Cheers

    My website is http://www.hostoholic.com .

Actually, I have not yet done anything to my site running with lite version, at the moment, i have installed the commercial version on my local system and not on my server.

    The problem is this :

1.I exported the Link and Category db's from my site.

    2.saved them as text files.

3.Imported them into my new installation of commercial indexu, whic i mentioned earliesr is on my local system.

    Problem :

I can see all the links and categories in the admin section, but those links and categories does not appear on my public version, thats the actual site on my local system.

    thanks for the help again

    Cheers
