Transfer of "database" and "indexu portal system" to new hosting company

I am transfering my website from the current hosting company to a new one.
How can I transfer the "database" and "indexu portal system" to the new hosting company without loosing the existing data?

Moving to a new server doesn't have to be difficult.

First thing is to back up your database using the indexu backup features.

Back up the database, the links, the categories, and the mailing list. You should have a total of 4 files backed up on your computer.

Next. Back up your themes/templates so you don't have to customize them again.

Next backup any hacked files you've done in the lib/ etc.

Lastly, back up your entire website.


Move to your new server. Install INDEXU like its a fresh install.

In the admin cp, you should be able to recover your database by simply importing the contents of your database backed up files on your computer, by using the import feature.

Re-upload your themes folder, and any hacked files so your website and database are the same as the old.
