Stop posting Links to deleted catagories???

Hi

I have some spammers on my site.

I deleted the catagorie who is posting in but now the links are automaticly added in Links Database and are shown on the "updatet and new Links" List.

How can I stop persons submitting sites? And how can I stop persons submitting sites to deleted catagories??

OK.

Go into admin cp, and under database tables, click on alter.

In the mysql box run this query to require permission to add in all your category.

idx_category set permission = '1'

I don't know, but it works fine for me. May sure you copy exactly what is there and try again.

If that doesn't work, you can manually change it by going into the categoy and selecting require editor approval before links are added.

I have done this. But the spammer is posting links into a deleted Catagorie. The links are only show`n in the "new and updated links" section on main page. This is the problem...

Not a good way, but can you change the name or the place of your "add-site" ?
Or create the "deleted" categorie again and set it invisible without acepting user links.

I renamed the add.php to add1.php

Now i have to change some Paths to the new add1.php but i didn`t found it?

I which .php`s is a path to the add.php??
