Special Characters

I though that after upgrading to 3.2 the issue with special characters was fixed. apparently not. I am having to manually edit submissions almost dialy because they do not work if any special characters exist. (i.e. apostrophes, slashes, hyphens)

Getting to be serious problem.

So far, I have seen the problem in the "description" field and the "Contact Name" field.

I know these problems in sitename and category fileds becaus of mod_rewrite url and category results and category path in search result (found in these categories (not links)).

I know there are posts here with solutions for 3.2 and 3.2E, but I also lost them. (If you find them, please tell me again ), but I don't know other problems like in description or contact name ?!
Please send examples !
Normalyy there can't be a problem, because it is simple text, the only problem I can see is that you may using the wrong charset definition in header ?!

Description field example:

Note the apostrophes in both. Also happens with slashes, hyphens, etc.

Not exactly sure what you mean?

When someone submits a listing containing special characters the editor, admin, and submitter all receive proper email notification. But, when we go to validate the submission it is not there.

It's been a problem since day one. I upgraded to 3.2 adn it stopped. But it is doing it again for no apparent reason. I wonder if something could be awry with the server?

I just tested on my own site and it worked fine with special character (ø) in company name field.
