RSS Image

Have added an image / logo to the listing which now shows in the category pages. each category has an option for users to "Subscribe to this category" is there a way of adding that image / logo to the category feed..

bit like yahoo top news : http://rss.news.yahoo.com/rss/topstories

guess it will be rss.category.xml however <%$logo%> does not show

anyone know?

You can't add a variable if it doesn't exist. To do this you would need to modify rss.php

you'd need to edit rss.php and add the $logo variable to it.

I don't know if this will help, but the categories already have an RSS link at the top of the page. I just created my own graphic with the RSS symbol and the text next to it in Photoshop and named it rss.gif and replaced the image in the image folder with it.
I think the original was 16px high so I made mine 18px tall to not affect the page too much.

each listing in my directory has a logo Shoppers Bargains
it that logo i wish to include with the category rss feed
