problem with license

When I put my license number into key.php, my admin section shows error: "Invalid License". Why? In my client profile looks everything OK.

To make it work a had to use previous key.php without license number.

Just to update the following: http://www.nicecoder.com/community/s...6383#post16383.

When going to the admin page, INDEXU looks at the data stored in a nicecoder.com data file and determines if the license is valid. if valid, then it allows the admin to see the admin pages. if not, the admin will not be able to do any admin functions - validate links, edit links or cats, etc

According to dody (and I have not seen anything different), your site will still function on the web, you just will not be able to do any admin stuff if your license does not validate - for whatever reason. I don't know why you can get to the admin functions if the key is blank, but then I have not researched that (nor do I have any plans to at the moment).
