password code & csv

hello. i have decided to make one of my categories 'member only'. not a problem. however, i update my site through phpmyadmin and csv via excel. my question is when i add a link through the admin template and select only registered users can view it inserts a 4 digit number in the code field, how can i also insert this code via csv manually to protect the category? many thanks

in idx_category there is a field called registered_only

It will have a 0 if it is open to everyone, and a 1 if it is for members only.

The password for the link is for editing the link. That has nothing to do with viewing the listing. You can add a password in your csv by putting it in the password field in idx_link
