Nothing in my validate link list

Hi,

Whenever I (or somebody) suggest or add a site, it is immeadiatly stored in the database and everybody on the net can see it.

How can I let this link to be viewed in the validate link list, so I approve or reject it?

You need to log-in to the Indexu admin control panel and then select the category you would like to 'validate links for'.

In that section you will have an option to tick a box which will state something like 'validate links first'.

But how can I force all the links in all the categories to be validated first. Do I need to get inside each category and change the validate option?

Or there is an easier way? (by changing the specific PHP code)

The easiest way is to leave your database as it is and validate all new links instead.

It would be very time consuming to remove the current links in your directory and then validate them again.

Run this command in your query box.

update idx_category set permission = '1'

This should set all your category to require your approval before a link is added to your directory.

I think that it is a good idea to make an option in the setup control panel that allow the user to choose weather to validate all links before approve or approve immediately.
