meta tags and key words

i need to have meta tags and keywords to be diffrent on each page in my site like for:

health
auto
web design
asp

and so on but i dont see where this is possable i supose that i can create auto_header.html and health_header.html and so on then call that from my auto.php and health.php but is there a way to tall indexu to use the information in the specific header like:

if *_header.html then go to line whatever

or

if header.html then use default

as you can see im no programer but this seems simple and i desperatly need this to get indexed right.

You can include meta tag descriptions in the category area. Selecte the category you want to edit and insert your description in the meta tag box. Admin panel and look to edit/view/ category.

that wont work because its not the catagory that im talking about if you go to www.cyber-seekers.com/health.php and look at that page i need it to have its own meta tags then i will make pages with sub catagories for health that are pages with articles linking back to the main page and they will need their owne meta tags. so you see that im not concerned with the links directory because the main focus of the site is information and those pages need to be indexed properly. Can you help with the solution if not then i have wasted my time and money with this program i belive that it should be an easy fix in the programing.

You mean you dont actually want it fixed but customised for yourself
I have been reading the posts here for a while and find peoples comments quite interesting.
I have been searching quite a bit for a similar script like this and couldnt find one with all the features indexu has for its very reasonable price.
Maybe people could ask if extras could be implemented?

i have put postes where i have said that i would pay extra for stuff but that gets no responce either. I dont know what else to do. Other than hire some one to modify the script to what i need then it becomes verry expensive software dosent it!

I wouldnt worry about it too much as meta tags and keywords are pretty useless these days anyway!
Theres far more important ways to promote a site.
Looks like your site has actually been dropped from this weeks google update im afraid to say, so maybe you should be paying for advertising rather than script changes

There are details page hacks that include category path as header titles, which gets indexed by google very easily and increases your exposure. Try searching the forums for details hack.
