On the whos online page you can click on users names, this gices an information list with things like ICQ # etc, jsut wondered where the user is ment to fill this information in!? I cannot find anywhere... or am i just missing something?

go to your profile and click on the User CP hyperlink (it's on the horizontal menu bar at the top). On the left hand side click on the Edit Profile hyperlink.

musta been having a senior moment. for whatever, I was thinking that you were refering to the vB profile here on the forum
for INDEXU, click on the My Account hyperlink ( I guess you will have to sign-in) or go to
http://www.your_site.com/path_to_indexu/cp/
then click on the Profile hyperlink.
