Listing Type (add text)

Hi,
On my directory v 5.4.0 on the add.php the listing types, there's a basic and premium and sponsored..I found the page in the template, but what would be the code to have "free w/reciprocal $0.00" added, I have searched first.

That really didn't help. I was looking for the way to add the "text" so you would have a listing for free-reciprocal. (the listing pull down box would have, "Free reciprocal link" ) I did try to copy the basic, change to free, and remove dollar value, but no luck. (your not going to let me live it down?)

I don't see how that thread doesn't help because you want to change the text of the listing type and that's what that thread is all about. The text is found in ajax.php just like that thread said.

I do see in the ajax.php what your showing me. But I'm trying to add text, and it looks like allot has to be done, to add one field to the list which would be: free w/reciprocal $0.00 along with all the other.

Free w/reciprocal $0.00
Basic $9.00
Premium whatever
Sponsored whatever

You didn't state you wanted to add a new choice to the menu, you only asked how to add text to the "free" line, which is why I gave you the answer I did.

If you want to add a line to the menu then you're going to have to reprogram add.php, and upgrade.php as well as ajax.php to reflect the new line, as well as the code to require a valid reciprocal link ONLY when that selection is chosen.

Good idea, but lots of work.

I was hoping it wasn't going to be that big of deal,(hoping you had code that would cut and paste into line 15,228,38 on template add.php etc..
Now it's free or paid, without the choice of free w/reciprocal and pay for the other listings.

I'll be watching to see if a mod show up.

As this probably isn't the most popular Mod, it would probably be faster to pay to have someone create it for you

Just a helpful suggestion I'm no where near gifted enough to create Mod's myself, so this isn't a sales pitch! LOL
