you could try something like the following in your index.html file:
<a href='http://www.your_site.com/path_to_indexu/detail.php?linkid=29'>Link of the Week</a>
it's "low-tech" but should work. if you want high-tech you'll have to install a random link generator.

yes but i thought if i can do it like a module in indexu. As new listing in main page.

Not sure what you mean. The only thing I can think you mean is to "automate" the prccess.
