Kill Indexu references in e-mails...

I've gone thru and replaced all references to "indexu" and "Indexu Team" in the appropriate "mail" files (in the templates folder)

I've modified the msg.php

The e-mail, to the submitter STILL references "From: Indexu"
after their link is approved. I give up! It shouldn't take hours to modify these variables....It is enough to make me wish I had bought another script.

I would think, a script could be written to automatically replace these variables without the user having to go in and find all of them in cryptic places....I want to replace all references to indexu with "Outdooregon.com" and "Outdooregon Team"

Can anyone give me a clue where this "From" reference may be found? (Please be specific, as I've already replaced as many as I could find everywhere that has been mentioned in this forum)

i dont know if this will help you, but i use a program called bk replacem. i can type in what text i want replaced and the text to replace it and it will go through hundreds of files in seconds and replace it. you will also be able to see which files contain 'indexu'. hope this helps.

I´ll give you a hint

use an editor like dreamweaver or anything else...

goto section 'find and replace'
and replace indexu.com with your.domain.com

Most editor-programms offer the option to use the replace function through a category structure including sub-cats
