here just one thought - I've studied economics - an also look at indexu on a business view.

Right now I worked out a nice advertise-programm for customers by selling the top category-positions (one, two and three) on a mountly basis. This can be easily done by setting the bid-option.

But this fact right now does not really satisfying me. Inexu should work in an more customized and performance-oriented way.

Couldn't it be modified so that the bid field is shown up on a separate login-page for customers so that they know what's the actual bid-price for this category. Within this page every customer has the opportunity to set a new/modify a personal bid for the category and also sees it's present rank.

Furthermore the hit-counter could be set up to count hits only for a mounth. (This option gives you more information anyway, caus it does rank popularity more exactly) Then the bid could be combined with the montly hits on an (advertised) page.

This fact makes indexu much more interessting for customers caus they only pay for actual hits and not for a fixed price. Furthermore it reflects the basics of an open-market-system.

I know that this may not easy to implement but it would make indexu a really good product to earn some money! Something to work on for indexu V4.0
