Indexu 5.4 Broke My Theme-Any Ideas?

Ok, here's my dilemma, I'm using a modified Simpla Theme on Indexu 5.4, trouble is a few things dont work if I use that theme (others work fine).

I know it may sound simple like just use another theme, but to be honest I'm not a big fan of ANY of the free themes, especially the default, they all look decidedly dated in the world of web 2.0.

I'm willing to pay for anyone to have a look at whats broken and fix it. Basically its stuff like the date formatting on new entries and also the fact that Hot entries, editors pics and top rated do not show up at all.

If you could take a look around Digital Music Industry 2.0 Resources & Daily Music RSS News RSS - Buzzsonic.dj I'd be most grateful if any of you have any suggestions. I thought maybe it would just be easier to go back and use 5.3.

One thing I can tell you is those snapshots are bloody annoying.

I have the same issue with one of my sites. Hot, top10, top rated and editors picks dont work. Right now it's running v5.3 and will be upgraded shortly.

Haha, yes the snapshots are proving to be a little obtrusive, will be removing that this week!

I actually heard from the Indexu Themes guys this morning and there's a Simpla Theme update for Indexu 5.4 on their website if anyone needs to update.
