Howto remove links from blocks

I am not a programmer so need some help.

Blocks usually are displayed on main page. I have many entries with links in descriptions. What I need is to remove that links when block i.e. random links are displayed. It is important from Google point of view - external, non thematical links gives a filter to website...

So I need to know how should I modify block to remove <a href...>anchor</a> and have only anchors without link syntax...
