The script 5.4 is already modified for utf-8

Are you using mod_rewrite??? Do you have the rewrite code in your .htaccess file? Do your regular links have this type of link or is this just a 'tags' issue?

IndexU 5.x was never really designed to handle multibyte languages and we never really supported them.

All I can say is make sure that your database is set for UTF-8 and add any changes/patches that were offered on the forum.

Your issue for Deluxe is because you do not use Apache, that has absolutely nothing to do with IndexU.

While it appears that your webserver does support mod_rewrite, it doesn't support it the same way apache does. And IndexU is designed to use apache's mod_rewrite.

Can't help you unless you're on apache. You can say what you want, think what you want, but from what I can see it's an issue between indexu and the webserver which is non-standard.

The fact is that no matter what you say, or ask, I won't help you. I've already said why but here it goes again.

1) You do not use apache, you use a non-standard webserver
2) mod_rewrite is not functioning properly
3) I tried to read about your webserver, but the site is not in english

I've tried everything I can and nothing has changed, I even tried to go out of my way to learn about the webserver you use so I could help you. That's beyond what is required of anyone in this situation. I could simply have told you that we don't support any webserver but apache and that would have been the end of it, but I didn't.

This thread is closed as there is nothing else I can do for you
