Arrow How to activate search on the web?

When I click on Global Search 'on the web' in the index page I get:

Your search for keyword "web" returned web links.

No web links have been found.

How do I get it to find the links?

Did you enter your Google API key in setup?

    Hi

On the setup page it says I need a Google Web APIs License Key but I can't find any where on Google Code - Google's Developer Network how to get a Web API Key.

    Can you help.

    Thanks

    Hi

I have done this already but still search says Your search for keyword "" returned web links.

I added the Google Web APIs License Key in setup.

    Any ideas

You must have a Google Account to obtain a Google API
    Do you have one?

    Perhaps this is the issue

As of December 5, 2006, we are no longer issuing new API keys for the SOAP Search API. Developers with existing SOAP Search API keys will not be affected.

The replacement for the SOAP search api is the AJAX api. Perhaps IndexU needs to have the search feature updated to reflect this.

I just purchased the script 2 months ago, so I guess I have to have the search updated. How do I update?

You'd need to rewrite the function yourself, or wait for nicecoder to release a version that works with one of the new api's.

Ok, I will wait for Nicoder to release it in the future.
