Hide Link count on main/front page

I would like to hide(exclude) the links count on my front page.
How can I accomplish this? I like the link counts on the second level menus to continue showing these numbers however.

Hidden link (inside hidden category) should not counting. It's our fault, we'll fix it in next release.
