help - mailing link owners

Im having trouble getting my email to the link woners. every time it gets filtered to spam. I have been trying all morning to get an email sent from indexU to my gmail account, everytime it gets put into spam. I have no links and no spam words int he body of the email. What could it be?

I have been looking at the headers and it has IndexU-X-Mailer, what is this and can i change it to something else to see if i can get the emails to not go into spam?

My domain is no blacklisted as i can send anythign from my email client without any problem. I think it must be somethign to do with the headers that makes it look like spam.

Any ideas?

You can change the mail headers to whatever you would like. IndexU-X-Mailer is just there as a default. Do not try to fake headers from a known mail client because if you do it wrong the mail will be tagged as spam.

Change it to yourdomainname-X-Mailer and all should work out fine.

i will see if it makes any difference, i dont really know much about how mail works, will just try a few things see what happens.
