Default Headers Already Sent (Can't fix)

    Hello,

    I get this warning:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/surplu2/public_html/dir/themes/default/msg.php:1) in /home/surplu2/public_html/dir/review.php on line 177

Now after checking my .msg php (where after searching for the answer) it states that i have a "space" somewhere where it shouldn't be.

Now i look at the top of teh msg.php file (by the way - ihave 2 of these files in my template modifier) , i notice there are several spaces infront of the "<?".

Now, when i delete these spaces using the template editor, and save the file, if i go to edit it again, the spacer reappear somehow! Are these spaces causing me the problem? and how come they would reappear?

    Thanks,
    Andrew.

Not sure, but I remember that it isn't a good idea to edit msg.php with the template editor.
Some servers will have problems with the blanks the script adds....

As Frank said - dont use the template editor... upload using FTP. most people with this problem find its the msg.php file and I have seen a couple of posts that mention they had to use an ftp program to get it to work.

you shouldnt have 2 msg.php files... one must have a slightly different filename or extension - make sure you edit the right one

Yep, but you can't edit it with the template editor and he is talking about the normal msg.php.
Normally there is no big needing to change the msg.php for admin

thanks guys - got it working by uploading in FTP - apparently the template modifier was adding a couple spaces here and there.
