Hi guys, I'd like to introduce our latest project. PRLoader.com

PRLoader is an advance google pagerank checker that allow you to retrieve google pagerank without installing google bar in your browser. By installing this script, you can do:

- provide free service for your visitor to check their google pagerank, the higher google pagerank usually get many visitors and popular. Some people also use this service to looking for link partner. If you have inbound link from popular website, your website popularity also become higher

- provide free service for your visitor to get weekly email update for their current google pagerank. This is a trick to generate lead for your promotion. You can attach your product/service promotion in email message delivered to them. Nice huh

- the best part is, you can integrate PRLoader with your website or any directory system (indexu yes!). You can provide google pagerank status to your website visitor for each link you have! Thus your visitor will feel more confident clicking the link. It mean they will much prefer your web directory than before


Integration is very easy, it have 2 invocation code that you can use:

1. For displaying google rank in text

Usually you will need this code if you want to integrate inside php. Just call open() function in your php code.

2. For displaying in image

<img src=http://www.yourwebsite.com/prloader/pri.php?url=url_to_check>

You will need to include this code in html / template files.


For security, we have implemented hot link image protection and graphical verification code. No one will steal your bandwidth

Requirements:
- php 4
- GD2 module installed in php (optional for graphical verification code)
- mysql database (you can use the same database with indexu)

Pagerank takes too long to load and you only have 5 stars when the rank is out of 10. With visitor rating and members rating all this can slow your website down. Its a great idea but it must be used cautiously.

Also good code will load page rank AFTER siteload !

prloader store pagerank value to database. You can set how long to update this data. If there's a request to get pagerank, prloader will find it in database. If it's outdated, prloader will fetch new value to google, otherwise just get the value from database.

So since prloader use database, then it's fast.

I've seen many directories providing this service. i am not sure about google allowing this....but i've seen it in many places where i see the pagerank integrated.

In the demo I can't login to admin menu...

The subscription for weekly message didn't use email doubt in for anti spam (sorry my english), so I can add as many emails as I want ? (spam...)
Thats hard, because in Germany it is not so easy. I can add the email of my friend and than you send "spam" to him, because he didn't ask for the service...

Can I set the PR-Update for all links exactly before the mails are going out ?

Can I block a domain a second time ?
(because someone added his domain twice or try to add every page out of his website)

One idea !
Add a backlink field in database. it must be the page where a user adds the pr-image -> backlink gone message to admin and user

maybe I am missing something but this feature seems like one of those eyecandy features that get hung on LINKS programs. By that, I mean it looks good in ads for the program but adds little actual value.

Other than Frank, who can go ballistic merely at the mention of the word INDEXU , is there anyone out there that cares about the google pagerank of a site other than the site owner? ( That should elicit some comments )

If I visit a links site and look at its listing, do I really care if one site has a pagerank bargraph of "this" versus another site that has a pagerank bargraph of "that." Do I even know what a pagerank is? ( The answer is probably no in 99% percent of the time ).

If you update it everytime the listing is displayed, you are adding time to the actual time to display the page ( and maybe not even changing the info in that would have been displayed otherwise ). And if you put it in the database, how often and when do you update it.

I could see where it might be a nice thing to add to a email to the link owner (hey, it would go good with my mass emailer....! )

If you mean my request for email sibscription check - its german law, what should I say, I''ll be the boss of Germany next years I'll try to find other solutions, but now its law, not more...

By the way, in Germany portals with PR-bar and the way to show an image with the PR in the page are very popular.

I like to open another of these portals with the great subscription feature (I can check also my (whats the word...) my neighbour of my business.

BUT it must be better, sorry

Daily check of PR is bad for a portal, because it needs Google calls of API and after some time this will cost money, don't forget that !

So the database is a good way, but it needs an automatic check, if there is an PR-Update or not, because a portal with old PR info makes no sense

So it needs what I wrote (sorry, may be my letters sounds bad, but I think my suggestions are good, better as my english ):

Email doubt in: Confirm that you want weekly emails with PR info (and promotions ).

Automatic PR check before emails went out !

No Domain spam, one domain only.

And a addon feature: Check backlinks.

Also demo should work

well, you still did not address the issue of whether or not the feature has any value to the web surfer who visits the site.

There is no way to check to see if the pagerank has changed without actually getting the pagerank from Google. and if you do that, you might as well update the value in the database.

I just think this is such a useless feature for INDEXU that it even bothers me to spend time posting a message on the topic.
