    Default Free & Paid Catergories

    Hi,

How can I limit some of the categories, I mean I want some of the categories such as image or longer description to be available to paid customers?

I am sure I have seen an option like that some where but now I can not find it, any idea please?

    Regards
    Mitchell

I think you're confusing things here a little. Categories have nothing to do with longer description or images.

What you can do is to charge a fee, one time only or monthly or yearly, for the ability to add a screenshot and a larger description. You can use premium links to do this and the basic link for just a small submission and text.

    Bruce,

You are correct, I meant the discription and images, where can I make it payable for long description and images, and free for basic text listing?
Where do I set up Premiere listing?
I have tried every where and I can not find it, I remember I saw it some where before but I can not find it any more.

I mean where exactly I can selecet which section is free and which one os payable.

Another thing how can I stop people submiting to my main categories (STATES) and to submit to subcategories only?

If you want a page like that one, then go ahead and add one using the custom pages.

As for how you charge for longer descriptions and images it's all up to you. This has been talked about before on the forum so you can search for it, but in the end the code is there waiting for you to make it do whatever you tell it to do.

Yes you're going to have to customize the script because IndexU doesn't come with this feature built in, but it can be added.

    Bruce,
I am still confused, I think somewhere in the admin area I actualy saw an option that you can selet which section is paid and which one is for free, I am been looking over and over for it but I can not find it any more, could you please tell me where in the admin I could make those selcetions?

Also is there a section in the admin area called "custom pages"?
    Thanks
    Mitchell

Custom pages is found under your templates, where the rest of the pages are found.

Pricing in the admin panel is set in the categories for level (basic, premium, sponsored), not for links. Pricing is found on a few pages in the admin panel and on each category when you edit it.
