Firefox & Category Ajax Problem

I'm using Indexu 5.4.0 and have a problem in Firefox only whereby when a user selects an additional category 'loading' text appears and it just hangs. It works fine in IE 7 and Safari.

This has already been discussed in a past thread that I found here http://www.nicecoder.com/community/f...ory-ajax-5170/. I have tried this fix by adding "SecFilterEngine Off" to teh .htaccess file but this just causes an internal server error and the site stops working.

I have even uploaded add_form.php from another unaltered, template with the same effects.

Does anyone else have any suggestions as to how I can fix this?

I can't remember exactly, but I think there was a fix for this in 5.41.

Otherwise talk to your host and ask them to turn secfilterengine off for you.

I've probleme with Firefox too. It's strange because every think works with EP and Opera and Safary....

My problem: when I add an external link in my footer ( for external analysis for example), the header only appears... To solve this I got off the links (because I didn't find someone to explain this PB...).

May I have to get off the cookis? To correct the code? and Where? And how?

That's because you're adding the external link in the edit CATEGORY section which disables the footer. This has been explained at least 50 times on this forum.

If you want to add a link to your footer then edit footer.html

As for the firefox issue, upgrade to 5.41 or disable secfilerengine. Those are the only real suggestions I can give you.
