    Default Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object

    I recently uploaded the latest version to my site. But showing the following error messages.

    1. On Home Page, Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in home/newkeral/public_html/portal/lib/category.class.php on line 476

    2. On New Listings Page, Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/newkeral/public_html/portal/lib/link.class.php on line 303

    3. On Hot Listings Page, Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/newkeral/public_html/portal/lib/link.class.php on line 771

    4. On Top Rated Page, Fatal error: Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/newkeral/public_html/portal/lib/link.class.php on line 901

    I uploaded twice and still have the problem. Please suggest a solution.

    I'm not sure if it solve your problem, but there is a patch for 3.1 in the download center that you need to install.

    Do you upgrade or fresh installation? Does the error occur in all pages? Please be more specific.
    Check again your database setting.

    Default Problem Solved

    I created a new database and everything is working good. (before, i tried to install over the old database as a new installation)

    It's fine. I just wondering why your upgrading failed. Many users already successfully upgrade the database.

    When installing v.3.1, choose re-installation/upgrading, instead of new installation. This will upgrade the database structure from old v.3.0
